Meditation Teacher Training
Certification Requirements for 200-Hour Training
Instinctive Meditation® Teachers need to have a deep understanding and embodiment of the core principles for creating a healthy, individualized approach to meditation practice.
This comprehensive program provides support for you to absorb and embody the teachings, in your own way. We help you to find your unique voice and strengths, so that you can share meditation with others as desired, with confidence and inspiration.
If you are not interested in becoming certified as a teacher, you may always participate in the Training curriculum for your own enjoyment and illumination, with the option of becoming certified at some later time.
Certification Requirements
1) Attendance
Students are required to do the following each week:
- attend or watch the recording of all live Saturday classes
- attend or watch the recording of all live Skill Labs
2) Self-Study
Students will be expected to do the following each week:
- watch all the instructional videos
- complete all reading assignments, embodiment exercises, and participate in discussion on a discussion forum
- complete integration assignment - answer open-ended questions about the teaching material
3) Practice Teaching
4) Audio Recordings
5) Final Video Assignment
6) Final Written Assessment
Certificate
Upon successful completion of the 200-hour Training, you will be an authorized 200-hour Instinctive® Meditation Teacher by our school, Radiance Sutras School of Meditation. You can complete the training in as short as 6-months, but can take up to a year from the beginning of the program to complete it.
If you are not a yoga teacher certified with Yoga Alliance yet, you can apply for a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) certificate with Yoga Alliance. If you are a yoga teacher and member of Yoga Alliance, you can also receive YA 200-hour CEU credit as a meditation teacher with the Radiance Sutras School of Meditation.

Please Note: These programs are intended to result in your certification as an Instinctive Meditation® Teacher. A Certified Instinctive Meditation® Teacher must possess a certain level of emotional and mental stability and the skills necessary to safely and competently execute Radiance Sutras® Meditation Teacher Training methodology. Although the great majority of students who attend complete and are certified, we reserve the right to withhold certification from any student who needs more time to develop the necessary skills.
Every attempt will be made to provide input throughout the program about teaching challenges that might impede certification. If it is determined that you have not successfully met the certification requirements we will determine the appropriate steps needed to complete certification.
