Aham Idam as Syzygy

One of the fundamental elements we attend to during our training is a concept many have not heard of when talking about meditation:

Syzygy:

The Dance of Opposites Leading Us Into Union

We love this word, which is from the Greek and means conjunction (as in astronomy, when planets are aligned, such as at the full moon) and marriage.

A syzygy (sizz'-uh-jee) is a continual mating dance between apparent opposites. We tend to favor one side, as if one is better. But in a true syzygy, the polarities are complementary; they need each other. Both are essential and when we play with syzygy we are in the dance of opposites that lead us into union.

Each of us is on an ever-evolving journey of awareness, of embodiment, of becoming One with the Body of Love.

In this video excerpt from our training we play with the opposites of Aham (individuality - I am) and Idam (universality - this is).
