Heather Briann is a faculty member of the Radiance Sutras School of Meditation, an Instinctive Meditation teacher, Integration Coach, and facilitator devoted to helping people remember the wisdom that already lives within them.

Her work centers on supporting people through the threshold moments of life—the seasons of uncertainty, transition, grief, awakening, and transformation that invite us to slow down, listen deeply, and rediscover the loving, grounded presence beneath fear, conditioning, and habitual striving. Heather refers to this as our Essential Nature: the innate intelligence, compassion, and aliveness that has never been lost, only obscured.

Deeply influenced by the teachings of The Radiance Sutras, Heather approaches meditation as a practice of intimacy rather than achievement. Instead of asking people to quiet or transcend their experience, she invites them to become curious about it. Sensation, emotion, imagination, desire, stillness, and even uncertainty become doorways into presence. Meditation becomes less about changing ourselves and more about cultivating a relationship with the life already moving within us.

Heather’s work is also informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), ThetaHealing, yoga, trauma-informed care, and contemporary neuroscience. While these disciplines provide valuable perspectives, she believes her greatest teacher has been lived experience—learning to trust the intelligence of the body, the rhythms of nature, and the unfolding process of returning home to herself. Her teaching reflects a deep respect for the nervous system, the uniqueness of every individual’s path, and the understanding that transformation unfolds through relationship rather than force.

As a facilitator, Heather creates spaces where honesty, curiosity, and belonging can naturally emerge. She believes healing happens not in isolation but in community, where people are witnessed without needing to perform, fix, or become someone else. Whether guiding meditation, facilitating groups, or working one-on-one, she walks beside those she serves with warmth, humility, and a genuine love of discovery.

Creativity is woven throughout her work. Rather than offering a rigid method, Heather designs experiential practices that invite exploration, play, embodiment, and direct experience. She encourages students to trust their own instincts, cultivate an ongoing relationship with practice, and discover meditation as something alive, personal, and continually evolving.

At the heart of Heather’s teaching is a simple belief: every person carries an inner wisdom that longs to be remembered. Through presence, compassionate inquiry, and the willingness to meet each moment as it is, meditation becomes less about seeking something outside ourselves and more about recognizing the extraordinary aliveness that has been here all along.
